This is what MrMasala66 thinks about your money!

Friday was a strange day. Myself and a colleague were given a mouthful of abuse by some guy with a can in his hand, and then I came home to find these kind comments on my Youtube videos.

So Lets deal with my weight. Thanks MrMasala66 for pointing out that I'm slightly overweight. However I've lost well over a stone in the last year, so I'm happy.

I'd like to address that issue that Mr Masala66 thinks I'm harming 'others' profits. Firstly MrMasala66 doesn't mind 'others' ripping you off, or ripping off manufacturers name, design etc. But now he thinks I'm harming 'others' (those who sell counterfeit goods) money, its all guns blazing with a rather meaningless attempt at acting like a spoilt two year old.
What Money?
Secondly, as far as I can work out there's little to no profit for your average seller in the counterfeit game. I guess that's why I had that Chinese guy from one of those fake Monster headphone sites, was on the live chat to me, calling himself Mary ... 'cause he's so embarrassed by the pittance he's earning!
Do you really think companies and online sites like Wallmart, Buy.com, Amazon, HMV have stayed in business all this time by selling counterfeit goods and settling for a $5 profit on a pair of Sennheiser headphones instead of the 30-50% profit that I know full well your average electrical outlet store enjoys? Of course not!
So it's no wonder that MrMasala66 is concerned about me making an impact on 'others' profits, because there is no real profit in counterfeits! Those I caught out told me about their profits. When I told them that usual profit margin was around 30-50% (according to my sources) they were amazed!
I like to stress that every counterfeit seller on ebay I've caught, I've offered them the chance to go legit and sell the genuine items, in exchange for advertising space on fakeheadphones.com. Goodness knows we need genuine people who sell genuine products, and there is a huge market and a huge mark up on selling genuine items.
Only one got back to me, and then he went into selling what we now know as, Kindles. No doubt you've heard the "Four Kindles" joke.
Sell Counterfeits for $5 profit or sell genuine £269 headphones for 30% profit ... hmm let me think! What school of business do these people go to (and a few of the sellers on ebay that I've caught selling counterfeits have been University students)? Did these people miss the viral marketing lecture ... If you do something right, your customers will tell 6 people. If you do something wrong they'll tell 13 people.
Its no wonder these fools go through the process of setting up a fake business, ripping a few people off, then having to start over again. Where would Amazon be if they did that? Amazon would be nowhere like these guys are, that's where Amazon would be!
Morel of the story; this is how little MrMasala66 and 'others' regard you and your hard earned, and mine! And if you're going to have a go at me, you need to try harder. If you want to make real money by selling genuine products, then I can send a huge amount of traffic your way. Instant customer base just itching to part with their money! I've got my own contacts and they'll be glad to help you out. Of course they would, 'cause there's real money in it for them and for you. Companies go to great lengths to get their products into the market and these idiots are settling for a pittance instead of ... well, think of what a 30% (for example) profit margin on a pair of Dr Dre Solo headphones is? It's more than $5.
gurvider singh

And the 'gurvider singh' thing, well MrMasala66 you might be partially right i'm not sure. My heritage as far as I know is Indian, African and Chinese and my father traced the name 'Scarlett' to Scotland.
So 23 stone, not far off, but the heritage isn't far off either. Your very observant. Thanks for caring and sharing your time enough to look at my Youtube video and taking the time to respond. Its very kind of you to give me your time out of your busy day. I appreciate it! Goodness knows how many hundreds of thousands of visitors I get a month from fakeheadphones.com and not a peep from anyone.
BTW MrMasala66 fakeheadphones.com was valued at $170,000-200,000 or something like that, so thanks for adding value to fakeheadphones by commenting on the Youtube video. That ... I really do appreciate :)

It's been a while since I last did anything on fake Sennheiser CX300-II. An eager contact has asked me to look into these. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, however, and i can say now, they're 100% fake ::) The pouch is the biggest giveaway :-\

What bothers me the most is the bad quality of the pouch, and the horrid quality of the silver words in the packaging.

There are also some spelling mistakes as well.

And last but not least, the sound quality is horrible...

Excuse me for a while. I'm off to bang my head against a wall. Why buy cheap garbage when there's a whole host of genuine and good headphones. If you want to impress your piers, then buy something different and good!

Beware of fake sites trying to fool you as well. All sites containing
"Beats" or "Monster" other than www.MonsterCable.com and www.BeatsbyDre.com are unauthorized and likely sell fake
products.

I've been spending time on Yahoo answers, trying to steer people in the right direction. However I've spent so much time dealing with questions about fake Monster headphones that I think it's time that I started a separate section dealing with Monster headphones.

Counterfeit Monster headphones

www.cheapbeatsbydre.co.uk strikes again - Monster has released it's own advice, however for now until I develop the new 'Monster Headphones' area on the forum let me just point you to what you need to know for now.

1) Amazon.co.uk is an Authoirsed Monster Dealer. However, according to the Monster site, Amazon.co.uk is not on their dealer list.
2) The Monster site only list two shop using the name "Beats" or "Monster" - see 'Quote' (above)
3) Monster do not do 'Cheap'. If you want a genuine pair, then your going to have to pay full price. There's no getting around this fact!

20 Sep 2011 - Sennheiser HD 25 SP 2

25 Aug 2011 - is it a good headphone ?

 ???
is it a good headphone ?

give me some advice ?
Fakeheadphones.com on Monster Dealer Blacklist? .. Er what!

It's obvious that the reasearchers at Monster are doing a real thorough job then ::) If the information on their site is so inaccurate, what other information is inaccurate ???

Fact is fakeheadphones.com never has and never will sell headphones. If they'd done their research 'Properly' then they would have worked this out.

08 Aug 2011 - Safe Buying Guide

New Buyers Guide

Simple advice on protecting your hard earned money!
Safe Buying Guide
1) Buy Only From Authorised Online Dealers

Purchase only from authorised online dealers, which ensures you will receive a genuine product and receive high levels of pre and post sales service. When you buy from an authorised dealer, whether at a shop or online, you can be sure you're buying a genuine, factory-new product. Authorised dealers will have access to the latest product knowledge and be able to offer a full warranty service in the event of problems.See the list of manufacturers below for lists of authorised dealers.

2) Buying Safely From Amazon, eBay, Playtrade, etc

While Amazon themselves are an authorised online dealer of many headphones brands, many resellers who sell through Amazon are not. When purchasing, it is important to note where the product is being "shipped from and sold by," which is stated clearly in the header for each product on Amazon.

Many resellers on eBay selling headphone products are not authorised dealers, but instead are individuals or traders who do not provide the level of before and after sales support that is expected by headphone manufacturers.

3) If In Doubt Ask

If you are in any doubt about the retailer you are considering purchasing from please check the manufacturer links below.  If you are still uncertain contact the manufacturer directly to check before you purchase.
Understand The Risks
If you purchase headphones from an unauthorised online reseller you risk the possibility of receiving faulty, fake or even stolen goods with little hope of obtaining warranty support in the event that the product develops a fault.

Unfortunately, headphone products are sometimes sold by companies that are not authorised dealers.  Goods sold by these unauthorised companies may come from a variety of sources, including:

a) Purchased via a grey secondary market (often from outside Europe that will not have warranty cover).
b) Fake goods not produced by the manufacturer.
c) Damaged, defective or so-called “B” grade stock.
d) Stolen goods.

Many of these unauthorised resellers list products via Amazon Marketplace, eBay and similar sales outlets, but there are also more established retail stores who obtain stock via these unauthorised channels.

Due to the nature of the goods sold by unauthorised resellers and their business practices, it is very unlikely that a manufacturer will offer warranty support for products purchased from these sales outlets.

In many cases unauthorised resellers frequently change names, website addresses and locations to avoid dealing with customer problems.

If you suspect that a reseller is not authorised to sell a manufacturers products consult the manufacturers authorised dealer lists or contact the manufacturer directly for confirmation before purchase.
Where To Buy Headphones Safely Online
Before purchasing a pair of headphones online it’s strongly recommended that you check that you are purchasing from an authorised online dealer.
